Duncan’s portfolio of successfully completed projects include:
- management of mineral exploration programmes in Europe, including project generation, design and implementation of drilling programmes, establishing local offices in various countries, successfully participating in public tenders and auctions for exploration projects,
- detailed on-site project evaluation, including "due diligence" assessment of resource and reserve estimates, of base- and precious-metal exploration and mining projects (throughout western and eastern Europe, and in USA, Canada, Indonesia, Burma, Thailand, Yemen, Oman, Mauritania, Morocco, Tunisia, Tanzania, DR Congo, Mali, Mongolia, Ghana, Guinea, Zambia, Venezuela, Mexico and Argentina),
- technical consulting and project generation for base and precious metal exploration programmes – specialising in Cu-Zn-Pb mineralisation and Fennoscandia, Central Europe and Balkans,
- detailed geological mapping and other field work, including detailed petrographic studies, on exploration and mining properties.
From 1994 – 1999 Duncan was coordinator for multi-partner R&D projects on applications for magnetotelluric geophysical technology to mineral exploration and environmental assessment. Metronix GmbH, a leading manufacturer of magnetotelluric measurement systems, was the lead partner, and and the projects were partially funded by EU programmes.
